Tonga’s border is set to reopen to quarantine-free travel from 1 August 2022.

Travellers aged 12 years and over must be fully vaccinated (at least two doses) and must submit a copy of their International Vaccine Certificate 48 hours prior to departure to [email protected]
A hard copy of the travellers’ International Vaccine Certificate is required for sighting at check-in and on arrival in Tonga. Travellers with vaccine exemptions must email [email protected] at least 48 hours before departure with a written report from a registered medical officer. All travellers, including children and infants, are required to produce proof of a negative supervised RAT test result, taken within 24 hours of departure from the originating airport. On arrival in Tonga travellers must
complete the Health Arrival Declaration Form inflight and are encouraged to download the Tonga ‘Atautolu contact tracing app.
Visitors wiill need to have a supervised PCR test done on day three to day five of arrival and report the result to the Ministry of Health at [email protected]
