GO Rentals, expands sustainable fleet with cost effective BYD ATTO electric vehicles

in New Zealand. The Kiwi owned company is setting the benchmark within the
rental car industry, in the hopes to see change.
James Dalglish, Chief Operating Officer, GO Rentals says they are thrilled to be adding more
environmentally friendly EV’s with the addition of a fleet of BYD ATTO 3’s, available only at
GO Rentals Auckland Airport and Auckland City branches.

Aotearoa emits about 60% fewer emissions over its full life cycle than an equivalent petrol
vehicle. This is the case even when accounting for emissions from raw material extraction,
manufacture, and shipping. This figure will improve as Aotearoa phases out fossil fuels in
electricity generation and as global efforts decrease emissions from EV supply chains.” —

GO Rentals will have a fleet of the extended range model of the of the BYD ATTO 3’s with
60kw battery, an estimated range of 420km.

GO Rentals is paving the way in the Car Rental Industry in terms of sustainability and
climate change action being New Zealand’s first rental car business to partner with
CarbonClick last year. When customers rent a vehicle with GO Rentals, they get the
opportunity to offset their emissions with CarbonClick – reducing the impact of their
drive and can calculate their driving footprint by offsetting via the website.
The rental car company are also proud to be Toitū net Carbonzero recertified,
accurately measuring the greenhouse gas footprint of their business.
