Fiji Airways introduces increased flexibility for economy passengers  with the launch of a new ‘Fly Your Way’ fare concept.

Fiji Airways has announced that it is revamping its fare concept to offer guests more choice and flexibility. The new ‘Fly Your Way’ fare concept will be available from 3rd March 2023, nearly 1 year after Fiji’s national airline resumed direct flights from Auckland to Nadi Fiji, following a two year hiatus due to the pandemic.

In response to flexibility becoming increasingly important to travellers, Fiji Airways is introducing a new fares concept for economy passengers, where guests can customise how they travel based on their needs. The new ‘Fly Your Way’ branded fares concept provides four categories including Lite, Value, Comfort, and Plus, which include varying degrees of versatility and offerings.

Fiji Airways Managing Director and CEO, Andre Viljoen, says “Our customer research highlighted the importance of flexibility to travellers right now which is understandable considering recent events and the ongoing impacts of the pandemic. With our new ‘Fly Your Way’ fare options, Kiwis have the option to book fares with increased flexibility when flying with Fiji Airways.”

Mr Viljoen explains that ‘Fly Your Way’ is part of the national carrier’s continuous efforts to innovate, and introduce new products and services to meet evolving customer needs.

“Fly Your Way represents the best value for money for all guests whether travelling light for a weekend getaway, or bringing the whole family for an annual holiday. Our customers have various needs when they travel whether for business or leisure, and with this new concept, we give them the ability to choose the product that best suits them.”

All categories will include in-flight meals, beverages, inflight entertainment and a carry-on bag at 7kgs, with increasing value add-ons from Lite to Plus, such as checked baggage, ticket change and cancellation flexibility, seat selection, priority check-in, priority baggage and more.

Mr Viljoen adds Fiji Airways strives to be at the cutting edge of commercial aviation and service innovation, and Fly Your Way opens up a new way of travelling to Fijian paradise, one of New Zealand’s favourite holiday destinations.

Fiji Airways is currently operating daily flights from Auckland to Nadi. The airline also operates up to twice weekly direct flights from Wellington and up to three times weekly flights from Christchurch to Nadi, Fiji. Kiwis can fly return with the national airline from just $696 NZD per person economy class and $1,296 NZD per person business class.

Kiwis can also use Fiji Airways award-winning services to conveniently connect to North America (LA, San Francisco & Honolulu) and as of December 2022 can use the national carrier to connect to Vancouver, Canada thanks to the launch of a new direct service. Kiwis can book return airfares with Fiji Airways to Vancouver via Fiji from just $1,548 NZD per person economy class. ????
