Frontiers International Travel Unveils New Fishing Expedition on Argentina’s Paraná River

(Gibsonia, PA) — Frontiers International Travel is thrilled to announce a new fishing expedition to the recently constructed Suinda Lodge located in Argentina’s Corrientes Province on the legendary Paraná River. This bucket list trip offers exceptional catch-and-release fishing for dorado, pirá pitá and pacú. Gourmet cuisine includes Argentina’s famed beef and fine wines, traditional Asados (BBQs), and delicious desserts.  A 5-night/4-day fishing package starts at $4,625 per person double and can be booked September/October and Jan 1 – May 31 seasonally. The rate includes lodging, meals, an open bar, professional guide services, and loaner fishing equipment. The fishing program accepts just 8 anglers each week.

“The Paraná River offers exceptional multi-species fishing,” said Hank Ingram of Frontiers International Travel. “Fly and conventional anglers will cast to pirá pitá targeting insects in the jungle canopy, monster pacú sipping fruit and flowers, and river-hardened ambush-minded dorado.”

Guests will leave the lodge around 6 am or earlier in custom, comfort-enhanced skiffs specifically designed for fishing the Paraná. They’ll return for a swim, lunch and drinks at around 10 am. After a siesta, boats will head back out around 4:30 pm and return at dusk.

In addition to the amazing fishing, a team of experienced chefs, trained in both classic and avant-garde culinary techniques, prepare every meal from scratch to be served at a minute’s notice. Diner menus are paired with some of Argentina’s finest wines, Bodega Catena Zapata.

Suinda Lodge offers four air conditioned suites with private bathrooms. Wooden footbridges conveniently connect each room to the main dining hall. From there, it’s a short walk to the water. Non-fishing activities such as bird watching are available to allow guests to enjoy the amazing wildlife in the area. The Parana River Delta ranks as one of Argentina’s top bird- watching destinations.
